EDITIONS:
Only no more than 200 of fine art limited edition archival prints will be ever produced
from each artwork in this gallery.  Prints are printed on demand, so editions might be even
smaller than as listed below. We reserve the right to increase our prices as the editions are selling
out.  Please don't hesitate to order your prints today to take advantage of these low prices.

GICLEE PRINTS:

All artworks listed in the Fine Art "Astral Travels" Prints Store will be printed as Giclee prints on archival watercolour paper using archival inks and under strict supervision of the artist to assure the highest possible print quality. All prints are signed and numbered by the artists and come with the certificate of authenticity also signed by the artists.

WHAT GICLEE PRINTS REALLY ARE:
The word Giclées comes from the French verb "to spray". In the printing industry, the word Giclée is used to describe a digital fine art printmaking process done by a special large-format, ultra-high-resolution 7-color ink-jet printer.

The artworks for which no high quality digital files are available yet, are first photographed using top quality cameras or they are scanned using highest quality scanners. Once the high quality digital file is available, artworks are reproduced using very stable pigment-based inks.

The test done by the independent testing lab by Wilhelm Imaging Research Inc. (a world-leader in printing media longevity testing), have proved that Giclee prints made with the very finest archival papers and archival pigment inks could last as long as 200 years before any noticeable shift in color will occur. So Giclées are truly museum-quality
Fine-Art reproductions and one of the most beautiful and accurate art reproductions that have ever been made, as well as among the most archival. Some test conducting labs even claim that Giclées typically have higher image permanence than most original watercolour paintings.

Giclées could be printed on a variety of mediums. The most commonly used are a various archival watercolour papers or canvas. At the moment many top museums already hold Giclée prints in their permanent collections.

OTHER AVAILABLE PRINTING MEDIA:

These artworks could be also printed on other printing media as listed below. In this case the image size will be slightly smaller than paper size. All fine art prints from the same artwork will be still part of the same edition, so no more than 200 fine art prints, in total, including all media, could be ever printed.

- BLACK AND WHITE GICLEE PRINTS:
Some artworks from Astral Travel series could be also printed as black and white Giclee prints. All black and white Giclee prints will be part of the same Giclee edition as colour Giclee prints, according to sizes.

- METALLIC GLOSSY PRINTS:
Artworks in this series could be also printed on archival paper with metallic shine finish. They cost usually less than other kind of archival prints. Please contact us for more info. They will be part of the same edition as Giclee or Cibachrome prints.

- GLOSSY CIBACHROME (ILFOCHROME PRINTS):
Many of our artworks from Astral Travel series could be also printed as limited editions archival colour or black and white glossy Cibachrome (Ilfochrome prints). They will be also part of the same edition as Giclee prints. The price of Cibachrome prints will be usually about $50 more than the price of similar size Giclee print. SIZES:

All artworks sizes are approximate, depending on the proportion of the artwork. For Giclee prints the longer prints dimension will be matched (as listed), so print's image area for 11x14" will be 14" on the longer side, but could be less or more on the shorter side. All Giclee prints will be printed on one size bigger paper - for example 11x14" Giclee print will be printed on 16x20" , so they will have a few inches white border around the print area. Prints printed on other printing media will be printed in such a way that they will fit onto the paper - for example 11x14" Cibachrome prints will be printed on 11x14" paper and they will have some black border around image area.

SHIPPING INFO:

In Canada and USA your prints will be delivered to you via Federal Express. For international orders, depending on the area, we will also use Federal Express or other reliable registered mail (signature on delivery will be required, so we can not deliver to P.O. boxes).
